- Auth code
- An authorisation code (or EPP key) will be provided your registar and aids in moving your domain name from one registrar to another. The auth code is required when transferring .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info and .us domain names. It is not possible to initiate a domain name transfer for these domains without an EPP code.
- Dictionary attack
- A program that bombards a mail server with millions of alphabetically generated email addresses in the hope that some addresses will be guessed correctly. This technique is also used to crack passwords.
- EPP
- An EPP code (or auth code) will be provided your registar and aids in moving your domain name from one registrar to another. - mySQL
- MySQL is an open-source database management system. MySQL is officially pronounced 'My S-Q-L', but often pronounced 'My SeQueL'.
- Nominet
- Nominet are the governing body for all domain names ending in '.uk'. We are members of Nominet and can carry out any changes to your domain name directly with them on your behalf.
- SMTP server
- An SMTP (Simple Mail Transport Protocol) server is the machine your computer connects to when you want to send email. Your machine connects to your SMTP server, which then sends your email to the other person's SMTP server.
